RJ heads up Liberty Bell as President using 20 years of public affairs and campaign management experience for the purpose of producing winning efforts. Rj helped lead the effort to bring the Voter Activation Network (Vote Builder) into Illinois in 2006 through the support of Senator Durbin and Bill Houlihan. The Illinois Democratic County Chairman’s Association became the Vote Builder licensee, and Rj served as its first director. In addition, he has led communications strategy development and campaign management for a variety of municipal, county and state legislative races as well as public affairs advocacy efforts on Healthcare issues. Since Liberty Bell’s inception in March of 2019 it is now working on Mayoral, County Executive, as well as Labor advocacy campaigns in Illinois and Iowa. In addition, Liberty Bell is also working with its affiliate, Groundswell Communications of Arlington, Virginia on targeted Congressional campaigns for the 2020 election cycle.
